My role is to understand the internal processes of Sales and Finance teams to ensure they're in line with credit management best practice. As part of my day-to-day work, I explain various trade credit insurance solutions so they can be easily understood by clients and seamlessly integrated into their business processes.

I've witnessed the devastating effects of sudden losses of major customers on suppliers who have had to close their businesses. Most businesses are wary of new customers but overly lenient towards existing ones who could potentially cause the most disruption.

It's very rewarding to make financial risk management accessible to companies. I like to find “win-win” solutions that enable them to achieve their growth targets and be more resilient when facing financial challenges. In my own way, I get to contribute to the success of local entrepreneurs, and it makes me feel proud.
